Tandem skydive Tandem jumpers in freefall The tandem skydive is the simplest way to introduce anyone to freefall skydiving. An Australian Parachute Federation (APF) certified tandem instructor jumps with you after 20 minutes of training. The student and instructor are harnessed together in a special parachute system built for two people. You will exit the aircraft from up to 12,500ft. You freefall together for more than 6,000ft, the instructor opens the parachute and you'll descend for 5 minutes or more under a large square canopy. Our Drop Zone is located near Willowbank Raceway and Amberley Air Force Base with spectacular views of Brisbane. Your aircraft ride will take you up to 25 minutes, we incorporate a scenic joy flight up to your exit height from 12,500ft. Willowbank is a short 30min drive from Brisbane or 45 min from the Gold Coast. We meet at the Western Districts AFC (Australian Footbal Club) at Chelmer (corner of Oxley Rd & Queenscroft St. Chelmer). We then transport you to Archerfield - board the aircraft - then a scenic joy flight over Brisbane for 30 minutes while climbing to an exit height of up to 12,500ft. Exit the aircraft and parachute back to the AFC with pin point accuracy and spectators waiting! Free courtesy bus is available for city pick up and return. For a tandem skydive over Brisbane city we require a minimum of two people jumping. VideoYou can also get video and photographs of your jump. A cameraman will jump with you and shoot video of your ground training, the plane ride up, the exit, the freefall and finally your landing. |
